Scoops on Wheels was created during a package design class, with the only priority being to develop a full-fledged board game. Immediately, I wanted to make a game with my design style and aesthetic in mind. I wanted to create an ice cream truck-themed game with mechanics like Candyland and The Game of Life where people of all ages can come together and play the game. I made everything in Adobe Illustrator, from designing the board to hand-placing each sprinkle. I drew everything on paper and traced it in Illustrator. I wanted the look to look like it was in an old ice cream shop, and it looked hand-drawn.
